MRI Services Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Apex Radiology is seeking a highly experienced MRI Technologist to lead the management in MRI modality to ensure high quality diagnostic imaging services, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services and patient care in our comprehensive Hospital and Private practices

As the MRI Manager, you will report to the Technical Services Manager and work collaboratively with respective Regional Services Managers of the hospital sites across the region to ensure that the radiology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services are exceeded for quality patient care for the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining a high quality, efficient MRI service to our patients and referrers
* Support the MRI Technologists by teaching and mentoring the team
* Co-ordinate and supervise the operational activities of the MRI team
* Ensures the safe and efficient use of the MRI equipment, acting to resolve faults/issues, liaise with vendors and management as required
* Assisting management with ongoing growth and development of MRI services within Apex
* Liaise with Radiologists, modality supervisors and staff across all sites
* Other duties, such as reporting or projects as directed by the TSM, and/or General Manager from time to time.

ABOUT YOU

* Degree qualifications in Medical Imaging plus a post graduate diploma or masters in MRI
* Business experience or relevant qualification
* A strong background in MRI, with Level 2 MRI ASMIRT qualifications
* Strong working knowledge and experience with RIS/PACS` system
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally
* 10+ years’ experience working in a Radiology practice
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a busy team environment
* Competitive remuneration offered for this full time leadership opportunity to be part of the Apex Radiology Management team based in the South West region of Bunbury or Mandurah. An ability to be flexible travel between sites will be required. Monday to Friday – no call or weekends
