Where you’ll be working
Hunter New England Imaging – Belmont provides an Imaging service to Belmont Hospital patients including Emergency, wards, outpatient clinics, operating theatres and After Hours GP. Outpatients are also serviced by the department. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who ensure Excellence is met for every patient. Our department offers General X-ray, Dental, II, Mobiles, CT and Ultrasound.  The ultrasound department provides obstetric, abdominal/pelvic, venous doppler  and limited muskeloskeletal examinations to both adult and paediatric patients.

What you’ll be doing
Within this position you will provide a high quality medical imaging service across a range of clinical areas to patients and carers of HNELHD and to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.

You are a dedicated Sonographer with excellent skills including both Sonography and General x-ray. You are adaptable, flexible and caring with a strong ability to confidently and accurately provide preliminary reports to Emergency physicians. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including weekends and on-call in both ultrasound and general x-ray.
