Position Summary * Grade 1 Fulltime (temporary from 15/6/20 to 13/6/21)
About Monash Health Monash Health provides integrated health care services available to over 1.3 million people, representing 32% of the population of greater Melbourne. In early 2017 we opened a new 230 bed dedicated Children’s Hospital, co-located next to Monash Medical Centre Clayton. This continues our tradition of providing outstanding patient and family centred care in a purpose-built paediatric facility where clinical services are being delivered in a child and family-friendly environment.
About Monash Imaging Monash Imaging is Victoria’s largest public radiology provider dedicated to providing patient focussed services to the people of South East Melbourne and surrounding communities. Monash Imaging has hospital sites at Clayton (including Monash Children’s), Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Kingston and two Dental Imaging practices. Included at these sites are a full range of modalities including MRI, PET/CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, Interventional Angiography, Nuclear Medicine and Bone Densitometry.
About the Role The Grade 1 MIT be rostered through general radiography (both at Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital) and including mobiles, theatre, fluoroscopy, endoscopy and weekends, afternoons and night shifts. You will be trained in Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter labs and CT. You will ensure that a high quality of patient care is provided at all times in line with the Monash Health icare values. You will be supported by the Director of Monash Imaging and the Chief MIT. You will model the values of Monash Health and the culture of Patient and Family Centred Care.
