About the role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced senior radiographer looking to step up into a leadership role.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

* Oversee the day to day operational activities of the practice through close liaison with radiologists, technologists and clerical staff to ensure that all operational and procedural policies and procedures are adhered to

* Providing a high level of professionalism and leadership to all staff to consistently produce quality results; maximising workflow, using resources efficiently, and ensuring referrer service and patient care are given high priority

*Participation in the clinical roster

Skills and experience

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

* Minimum 5 years radiography experience
* Demonstrated experience in leading and training other staff
* Current EPA licence and AHPRA registration
* Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with patients, staff and other stakeholders
* High level attention to detail
* Strong patient focus
* Ability to manage a team and be a mentor to graduates
* Sound problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated understanding of WH&S practices
* Flexibility to attend manager meetings and training as required.

The hourly rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on skills and experience.
