Job Description

BreastScreen Queensland are currently seeking a Senior Breast Imaging Radiographer to join their team on a permanent part-time basis, 38 hours per fortnight.

About your opportunity
The Senior Breast Imaging Radiographer will perform consistently high-quality mammograms, regularly participating in assessment and diagnostic clinics and providing support, advice and a high standard of care to clients in the BreastScreen Queensland Townsville Service.

Role requirements:

Possession of a tertiary qualification establishing eligibility for Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Possession of a Use Licence or be eligible for a Use Licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999.
Hold a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencement.
If using ultrasound skills, a Statement of Registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Register (ASAR).
Travel is a requirement of this position visiting locations within the Townsville, Mackay and North West Hospital and Health Services and also Brisbane.
‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.

Generous remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value up to $137,806 p.a. comprising salary range of $55.60 to $60.91 p.h. (HP4), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation.
